Rules

Updated: October 1, 2018

SnapSuggest creates communities within workplaces which allow employees to share suggestions, vote on suggestions, and post comments on suggestions. This is your opportunity to have a voice in your company. However, this opportunity comes with a responsibility to post helpful suggestions and comments. If used properly, SnapSuggest will give all employees a voice in helping to make the workplace better and the company more successful. This document will provide some rules and guidelines to help you participate in a quality and productive way.

Anonymity

You may post suggestions and comments anonymously. When you mark a suggestion or comment as anonymous, our system does not associate your name or email address with the post. We have no way of knowing who posted anonymous suggests and comments. So, even if your employer requests us to provide the identity of an anonymous poster, we cannot do so. However, you must use this feature responsibly. The following rules have been established to help ensure that you do:

  • First and foremost, we encourage you to use your identity when making suggestions or posting comments whenever possible. Doing so not only makes your posts more credible, it also gives you credit for your activity.
  • SnapSuggest and/or your company will moderate all anonymous posts to ensure inappropriate posts are flagged and filtered out. Anonymous posts may experience a delay in being visible to others as it goes through a manual review process.
  • SnapSuggest reserves the right to block inappropriate posts, at its sole discretion. See unauthorized activities below to see examples of inappropriate posts.

What to Post?

The goal of SnapSuggest is to provide a forum for, and highlight to management, good ideas that will better the workplace and make the company more successful. Whenever possible, please try to post suggestions for improvements. If you are posting a criticism or problem, please try to include ideas for improvement or solutions.

An example of a suggestion that is not overly helpful is: "Communication around here sucks." An example of a suggestion that is helpful is: "I would like to see regular monthly staff meetings where we have access to senior management to ask questions."

Push Notifications

SnapSuggest offers a push notification feature. If your company has opted to use this feature, you need to turn this feature on in your phone's settings. It is important you do this as your company will use this feature to solicit feedback about policies, events, benefits, strategies, and other things that may affect your job.
